Audioteka
Audioteka was founded in 2008 and specialises in the production, sale and distribution of audiobooks. With the changes taking place in the digital world, the company decided to move away from online desktop sales only and to expand into the smartphone market. The firm began to sell its products with an app that allowed customers to listen to its audiobooks on an Android device. The success of this venture meant that Audioteka was seen as an innovator and strengthened its position in the market. Google has also opened up new possibilities for Audioteka. A spectacularly successful launch in Spain means the whole of South America has become a potential market for the company, and Audioteka also hopes to become the industry leader in English-speaking countries. The company uses Google Apps, AdWords and Google Calendar on a daily basis to organise its workflow. “Google is an invaluable tool for us, not only in terms of reaching customers who want our services, but also in organising our day-to-day business,” says Michał Kwiatkowski, Head of System Integration. The success of the audiobook app means that the company is now looking into using Android Auto, because the apps are very often listened to in customers' cars.
